Ceremony and Reception: Profile Event Center
We'll be having both our Ceremony and Reception at the Profile Event Center. Because we met at the University of Minnesota and both will have degrees from there, it was important to us to include the U in our wedding somehow. Campus is absolutely gorgeous and there is so much to do in the area! However, many of the event venues managed by the University were far too expensive. PEC to the rescue! It's located just SE of campus (one of the U's apartments is just across the street) so it definitely still feels like campus. It's also a great deal, especially since we have decided to do a Sunday wedding!
Our wedding will be held in the Casablanca room at PEC, which is the photo on the top left. I'm thinking this is close to what our set up will look like; round tables without the ceiling drapery. There's a little stage up front where the ceremony will be held prior to the lunch reception. I can't wait to see what we can do with the space!
